I just got a Suzuki LT230 GE shaft, and I'm trying to learn some things. Because the one I got it from has no books or anything at all. What capacity is the gas tank? Dose anyone know where I can still buy parts reasonable for it? And ETC.... It would be greatly appreciated if anyone could help!

I got an 86 LTF230 (same as yours but with a hi-lo range transfer case), they seem to be the forgotten ATV from suzuki, but parts seem to still be pretty available from Suzuki, I got some brake parts and body parts from cheapcycleparts.com, they are all genuine Suzuki parts.

I am guessing yours has no rear suspension either and very little front? From what I found on the net, they are very tough little quads, and from what I have driven of this one, it is a torquey little thing, and good at climbing the rock pile my parents have at their yard.
