ok so I pulled off my clutch housing cover...
 

Well I got into some pretty good mud this weekend and even before that I had some belt "chirping" when coming to a stop then accelerating. So I was bored and pull the whole right side of the bike apart except the metal guard that goes over the clutch wheels. I was thinking I might see water but no just a bunch of dried soft mud/dirt. I blew out the entire housing with compressed air and visually inspected the belt, anything else I should do while its apart??

Couple of questions to ask yourself
1.did I ever pull the cover off before what did it look like
2.is there a film of dust or heavy dirt?
3.what is the condition of the gasket that you removed with the cover.
4.mileage of the machine. MFG prob says change the belt at 1200 miles or so but in reality you could get 3-5k out of it. possible your older belt stretched some and this could be the cause of the slippage. My King has slipped a little since day one.

If there is a bunch of funk in there just clean it out for now. Inspect your belt for wear and seal it up.
Go on a few rides and open it up... Some dust is expected (light film) but a heavy build up is not.
If there is a bunch of funk I would replace the gasket and run it a few more times and check it.

A good cleaning for now may be all that you need.

There was a ton of dust in there, It just kept blowing out!! The main gasket seemed to be ok I sprayed wd40 on it. I was thinking about buying the 2 1mm shims on eBay for the coop45 mod

I opened mine up to do my clutch around 1000 miles and there was some light dust inside with a film on the inside of the cover.
If you are full of dirt there may be another issue or maybe you just ride in a dust bowl all the time.
Keep an eye on it and clean it out every so often.

Don,t grease anything,the only cleaner I use is brake cleaner on the sheaves.

Good point about the brake cleaner for the sheaves.
This is something that I should have mentioned.
You could pull the belt and clean the primary and secondary.
