Had a question for you gents on the Suzuki. Does your KQ have serrated metal footpegs bolted on your footwells? If so, what are the dimensions and are they made out of aluminum? I'm thinking of getting some to bolt on my X2. When we did a trip a couple weeks ago I got water all over my quad that flash froze in my footwells and made them very slippery. I was thinking of adding some serrated ones so my feet don't slip off the footwells in this kind of condition. Thanks all.

 

Moose... Yes they do bolt on my 09 750 KQ. Steel 1.375 Wide 7.5 Long .625 High and at the outside end it's 1.125 High for about .75 In. They have 2 holes for bolts. Any other thing i can help you with just let me know.

 

Appreciate the answer. I was able to get another guy to confirm. I think I'm going to get a 7/8" square bar of aluminum as it will fit between the ridges my X2 has now. I'll probably clamp 2 pieces together and drill in between the pieces so that I get a "serration" of semi-circles. Should be enough to keep my feet planted when it gets icy.
