Sharing is taking part of something you OWN and letting someone else use or consume it. If Scooter is okay with it, I'll leave it.

Sharing, however, is not, taking someone else's intellectual property and dispersing it for free unless the author gives permission. If you buy a CD that does not give you rights to copy it and disperse it to everyone you feel like giving it to. You're basically stealing from the musician and the company that's backing him. I used to work with software on a daiy basis and one of the big things was having to make sure the software we were offering was not copywritten in any way or was a copy of someone else's program. I don't know about you, but if I wrote a book or song and someone decided to take my material and give it away for free even though it was protected by copyright laws, I'd be ticked off. People make a living being creative. I don't believe it's right to deny them the pay for their labors by cheating them. Just my .02 worth of a subject that I've given a lot of thought to over the years. Theft in any way, shape, or form, is one one of those things that drives me nuts.

Since the original post says they are all found free online, I think we're ok. Of course he's just supplying you with the link, and not giving or selling the original product without consent of it's rightful owner.

That's our story and we're sticking to it.

The word, "enabler", comes to mind.
