LT 230 Chain Tensioner Malhombre
 

My chain broke off causing the rear sprocket to bend and of course cracked open the stator case. So now I'm rebuilding and wanting to prepare my quad for jumps, so I searched for a chain tensioner. The 1986 lt230 s did not have a stock chain tensioner. So I searched universal chain tensioner and found one tried it didn't fit. (shown without the coil spring)

I found a few threads on the same subject on this forum but every link or reference I checked out did not have a Aftermarket Spring loaded Drive Chain Tensioner for my atv. Can anyone point me to one?

Do a quick google search for "ct99 chain tensioner." I've never used one but a few of the members here have used the ct99 tensioner on their 230's.
