I'm taking the top end off of my '84 LT250EF and my Clymers for an '85 has different pics for the rocker arm cover. I've removed all the vertical cover bolts but the cover is stuck solid. I need a service manual to continue disassembly and repair of the whole top end and I'm stuck at the very beginning of the project. If you have a link to a digital manual, I'd appreciate a share. Thanks.

I got the cover off. I found pics of my style valve cover on ebay and saw there are two bolts under the rocker arm covers. So I have it off. Now, before I tear anymore into it, I'd like to know how to test the compression release. If that is leaking, I'm going to have low compression. And it will be completely different repair than changing rings/piston or valves. I see nothing online about testing a compression release.

Still looking for a digital manual for my ride. It was manufactured in May of '84 but the pic of the valve cover on ebay was for an '85 so that's probably what it is - 1985.
