I'm tearing my zilla motor apart myself, I have a manual coming this week. I have to because I broke my motorcase. Any tips on anything?
This is the first 2 stroke I've done, looks easy so far. If I'm wrong let me know! The piston fells snug but there is carbon build up on it I was thinking of putting a new one in while I have it apart.

The manual does a great job of telling you what to do. Go to mr. Dunes site and look at his quadzilla rebuild project, he has tons of helpful hints that certainly helped me. I have about 85% of my engine put back together. I have a 87 zilla that I am doing a frame up restoration of just like mr Dune. It is approaching the year mark for me, but should be ready to rock within a month. I completely went through the engine and it is very easy to work on, as long as you have the right tools. Let me know if I can be of any assistance.

all zillas crank berings go after about 10 hours so you should get the cases split and machined and put incertes in and new berings that is a permeantfix if not you are just pi$$ing in the wind

Dude, there are LT500R manuals, but I don't think Clymers makes one specifically for the Quadzilla. I THINK that there is a LT250R/LT500R clymer manual. There are also the factory manuals or whatever they're called, I see them on Ebay.

I Have the factory Suzuki Manual and it is great. I do not believe there is a Clymer manual for the zillas. You can still get the factory manual through Suzuki. I got mine from Midwest Action Cycle and cost about $40. Hope this helps.
