i have been checking up on this quad because i plan on buying one soon. in one magazine it says it had 8 inches of ground clearance but i highly doubt it, but if its true that would be awesome.
thanks,

It definately needs 22" tires on the back if you ride in the woods and powerlines. I was dragging bottom everywhere but with the 22s on it, it has more g.c. than my 400ex which is cool. I hit nothing now!

Just hit whatever your going to hit square on both tires and you'll be fine. For rocks and things you can't hit square then don't hit those things. I can cross 10" train tracks with my Z without hitting the rear skid plate. If I hit it angled of course I would be screwed but not when you hit it square with both tires.

We ride alot of powerline hills and you have to ride the ruts up the hills so with the 20s you have no choice but to drag. If you don't have the speed you get stuck. With the 22s I can crawl or haul azz with out bottoming. I have not changed any sprockets yet but I will very soon. I might drop one tooth on the front. My plastic skid plate is already thrashed from just drag hard dirt. Like I said the 22 are a must where I ride. If on a track I would stay with the 20s. I took the tires off my 400ex and put them on myZ. Heck I won't ride my ex anymore so I just swapped the tires.
