Dear Suzukian's
I am STRONGLY considering retiring my 98 Grizzly for a liquid cooled manual machine (just my preference). I want an ATV that I can use as more of a tractor. I was strongly considering the Arctic Cat, but found a Canadian guy selling brand new Vinson's on Ebay (there is one listed now) for $5300.00 plus $200 to $400 for shipping depending upon where it is bound to. I e-mailed him about a manual model and he quoted me a 2003 manual Vinson (brand new) for $5200 + $275 shipping (to Iowa). Seems like a VERY good deal to me. I asked him what was the difference between the Canadian version units and the U.S.A. version and if I would have any issues getting the warranty honored in the a U.S.A. He replied that they are the same, but never directly answered my warranty question. His Ebay feedback is good. Does this seem to good to be true? Awaiting Your Replies Allen L. There are always good deals on e-bay. Just check out the business first to verify that it is a real business. Most of the people with good feed back are great to buy from. I haven't had a problem yet, but then my winch isn't here yet. I will know when I get it. They sell for 200 new here and I bought it "seal, new in box" for 100. So yes there are nice deals, check it out and go for it.
PS contact a local dealer and tell them that your buddy is down from canada or is coming down and you want to know if the warranty is still good there. Beside the warranty isn't very long. |
Well, it would appear that.
A. There really isn't all that many Vinson riders on this forum B. All the focus has switched to the Z400 Still looking for some info. Thanks |
The Vinson is a great machine. The best I could do on both of mine was $5800 + tax.
