top speed

I had 71.9 on my stock Z400 on the road. 400ex racing me is around 68 or 69. I drilled the peashooter out of my exhaust for a better low end take off but the top speed dropped to around 68.4. I will test again after the pipe is installed and jetted.

Well I clocked on my Trail Tech and even showed 3 other guys with 400exs. It did 71. I guess if the Ltz is faster than an ex and an ex does around 68 to 69 then I am pretty positive that I am right!
No I have not run the two yet. I am going to WV this weekend with both so I will run them there.

First of all, the only accurate way of measuring speed is with a GPS or possibly a radar if it is used properly and calibtrated properly. A trailtech can be accurate but you don't know until you compare it to a GPS reading.
The 85 MPH post was a joke, people.
Do a search, there are some posts that sound LEGITIMATE that were made by using a GPS a while back.
