Porting, Exhaust, bigger Carb, head mods.... not necessarily in that order were great performance improvers!!

Take that 1300cc motor out of the 2-wheeler and put in the Zilla!! First things would be a pipe ( I like my Paul Turner) and a different carb (39mm Keihin seems purty darn good), and open up the airbox a wee bit with a few holes or just remove the lid, then re-jet and enjoy I also put 21x9x12 Mudsharks on the rear and them babies will displace some earth, but if you like your tires then that's all good. I've rebuilt mine right from bumber to grab bar and head light to skid plate, so I really couldn't say what's good and what's bad for mods cuz I'm right in love with my '87, although a 1/4 turn twist seems like a bad idea till you get used to it........Hey, what mods do you have on your 'Busa? So far I've gotta a Yoshi can, K&N filter, an undertail and hugger, plus flush mount blinkers on the Gix.....It's a helluva good time!!........Latah
