Default douglas wheels suck

Im just going to repeat what has already been said. Stock rims are slightly stronger due to the fact that they have the rolled lips.
Douglas wheels are great for the track provided you ride with the right air pressure ie. not too soft.
They are not good for trail riding. If you dont beadlock them, you will be bending them all the time. The point is you buy aftermarket rims to save weight, and when you reinforce them, they weight the same as stock. All depends on the sort of riding you do.

All rims are bendable.

Read my sig for my thoughts on this topic.

I think this dweeb just bent his rims due to "operator error". Learn how to work the irons, my man! I can bend just about any aftermarket wheel with a large iron bar if I try hard enough. Factory wheels are tougher than any standard aftermarket wheel. Beadlocks are a different story. Buy a set of dual beadlocks, that way you won't have to beat them with those nasty tire irons! Heh heh heh

The C-dale wheels are .160's? Hmmmm... I was told by R&S Performance that they were .190's. Oh well, either way, my front ones got bent to hell. I replaced one of them w/ a 190 and I wrecked once in a race and the wheel went from a round shape, to a "D" shape. But I'm willing to bet a rolled edge wheel wouldn't have held up to that wreck either.

I hate flat edge wheels but unfortunately thats all I can afford. If you want some good quality wheels, buy yourself some Hyper Tech Carbon fiber wheels.

Oh, and I would have to agree w/ wizeguy. I think the wheel bending is just operator error. To who ever it was that started this post... Dude, you need to let someone else change your tires.

I've never laughed so hard in all my life, you guy's are funny as hell, but yeah I could bend a rim too with a tire iron, the trick to changing tire's is not to take so big of bite on the tire,a little at a time not half the damn tire at once.Oh and as far as them not being balanced, heck even car rim's are'nt balanced, that's why you have them balanced at the tire store...DUUUUHHHH!!!

Ouch! I was trying to be nice, but I agree. I think operator error plays a big part in this one!
