Z400 bent grab bar and other Q's
 

I visited a friend down in Phoenix last week and rode his Z at the Imperial Dunes. Anyway, I was showing him how to ride it [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img] and went back too far a couple times and hit the grab bar and he did as well. IMHO a 1 piece sub-frame and grab bar is the stupidest thing a manufacturer can do on a sport quad. So can the grab bar be cut off and an aftermarket one be fitted? Has anyone done this? What aftermarket grab bar is spaced about the same distance so he can drill some holes and bolt one up?

BTW, the Z is a really nice bike. Felt a bit lighter than the raptor, was real apparent when my stoppie went 90 and almost became an endo [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] The handling was about the same as the raptor with an extended axle but I missed the extra cc's.
