I have the full HMF and I always beat the other guys with the Yoshi pipes. I have raced any z other that yosi piped ones. It seems to be very popular. I did beat a 480 ex. If that counts.

I'm getting a full system for mine soon and will probably go with the White Bros. E-Series. A couple other people that ride with us have them and they're very nice. Incredible performance difference on a KFX400, and that was just the slipon.

hey KGB:
Just read the thread for the first time and noticed you were from SLC. We live in North Salt Lake. I have a 04 white Z that I bought in April, haven't done anything to it yet except enjoy it, mostly out at Little Sahara. Now that I got my son's 400ex piped out (WB R4) looking at getting one for me. Did you rejet when you put your LRD on? I've been told that since the ATV's are jetted for sea level that bikes at our elevation are running rich anyway and we probably don't need to rejet. I'll of course check that out when I get the pipe but was looking for any info I could gain up front. If nothing else I would buy that jet in advance and install it while I had the stock pipe off or something. Anyway, let me know what you've learned and pass it along. Thanks. Doug

the Graydon and CT are both the same pipe
So who builds them, CT or Graydon, and where can you order graydons?

I like my CT, as do all the CT owners I've talked to. Many of them had tried other pipes in the past as well. This is a very popular topic and if you do a search, it comes down to pretty much a tie between CT and HMF with LRD right behind them as far as popularity. It's all a matter of opinion mostly, though. Just don't get the DG and I'm sure you'll be happy with whatever you get. Anything is better than stock...except DG.LOL

It seems like everyone likes the HMF or the CT. I just got my pipe at a great price and it looks great. The CT is quieter. Just make the choice you thinks is best.
