Well, the Z250 hasnt come out yet, so no one can really say. It is going to be in the same class with the 250EX though, not the 300 and Warrior. Out of the 300EX and Warrior, my personal preference is the 300EX, being that I have one. From what I have read, the 300EX is for more agressive riders since its lighter and handles better, while the Warrior has cushy suspension and heavier weight, but is also faster. The Z250, by the looks of it and what Suzuki has done lately, should be better than the 250EX. But we will see when it comes out.

Whatever you do, DON'T get a Warrior. I rode one for years!! It's an old, tired design, and handles big and heavy. Nobody has ridden the 250, so can't be any help there. We also had a 300 for years. It is a solid bike, and a pretty good performer (good suspension, descent power, reliable). Good machine for smaller adults, or bigger, experienced kids. The 300 is the ultimate trail machine, and even I (at 200 lbs), could bust out some pretty big air on it.

Dude the guy just got finished dissin the worrier so shove that in his face. For now at least. The worrier has nothing on a quad. Its like the crap bomb when you need it most. Always unreliable. don’t relie on it for a nice smooth fun filled ride. Instead your gonna pull out of your garage and have to fix something right away. Maybe not but that’s what I herd. Over a bump and you got 1 more quad. One with a seat, rear swing arm, rear axle, 2 rear wheel, rear shock, air box, and the other quad with what ever didn’t break off with the rest. LMFAO.

God i hate people who bash the warrior, i know its an older design, but im only 16 and built the motor and redid my frame for mine by myself, my warriors turn key all the time and has never left me set....... I cant say the same for the 300ex my buddies had 2 and has had to make the newer one a parts bike to keep the older one running, in a drag race he gets his a$$ kicked, On the track, On the track hes also loses pretty badly, Ive raced about 5 different 300ex's and have beat them all. The warrior is not a piece of crap you guys just must not know how to turn a wrench the right way because ive tore mine down to the tranny and rebuilt it and put it back together and have had no problems so dont talk a bunch of crap.....

The Warrior has proved to be a very reliable machine actually, its very basic just like the 300EX. In the Dunes, the Warrior can take a 300EX, and everywhere else that power is the main concern, but put them both on a MX track or in the trails where handling takes over, then the 300EX will win, stock for stock with equal riders.

I would not agree with the "warrior is cr@p" statements as it is a very solid machine....it should be as Yamaha has been making a lot of money off a design that remained mostly unchaged in over 10 years. What it is not is a track bike. It works great as a play bike anywhere else though. BTW the 300ex is not new either so, the argument of 'old, tired design' does not apply in a 300ex -vs- warrior discussion.

With all this said, I would choose the 300ex over the warrior for three reasons: 1) The 300ex power/weight ratio is better 2) Handling is better 3) It's a much more stable jumper.

Now comparing the Z250 to these two bikes is apples and oranges as the motor is smaller, the chassis is smaller and it is a semi auto.
