Hello All!

Just purchased a 2002 Polaris 500HO and changed all my fluids except for the coolant. It looks pretty dirty so I want to replace it before I head out on the trails. Can anybody offer a "How To" summary on how to do it?

For instance:

Does it take special fluid? Exactly what kind?
How much does it take?
How to properly drain?
How to re-fill?
Any other information that would be helpful.

I did a search on the forum and came up empty handed and also didn't get a manual with it. I thank you in advance. Happy riding!

It takes 2.25 quarts of Polaris 60/40 premixed antifreeze. OR 2.25 quarts of high grade coolant that can be used for aluminum products. Drain at water pump, re-fill, and ride man ride.

Check overflow bottle as you may need to add a bit more as the product expands and contracts.
