i have got a used yamoto atv . it has some probs. it needs a voltage regulator. do you have to use a special battery or will a lawnmower battery work or motorcycle batt. i got 7 volts reading on the one we are using after it warms it stays idling. when you remove cables from it (jumping off a truck battery truck not running of course) it runs rough .probably cause it has no voltage reg. on it. right????second thing is when i shift down to 1st(automatic)to take off its weak alittle an sloppy but goes (probably carb adjustments/clean right????)it will take off but when i go to shift to second ......doesn't go into it. i tried down shift it just stays in 1st if i go up it goes to nuetral. when i parked it after messing with it trying it out i noticed oil coming from ......left side where your drive axle bolt up to tranny theres a tit there that has the hose coming off that goes to ????well the hose isn't on it and it's blowing oil out it. pretty sure it should up shift 2 mores times lol.....finding parts is .....well still can't find a volt reg.you can also reach me at drsilloh@hotmail.com

 

also the fenders say 110 st ,but these fenders are not the orginal ones. it has yamoto on its side covers.i can send pics of it.
