Default 95 xplorer 400 help

i have a 95 xplorer 400. 2 questions.. i cant get front axles out. they are stuck. any thoughts?? also i want to run paddle tires in sand and the biggest are 22". will that screw up drivetrain with different size tires or can i unhook front chain while i play in sand so its basically 2 wheel drive??

PB Blaster,WD40 on the splines along with a little heat will help. May have to take a slide hammer or impact on the yoke end if splines are real rusted. Even if you remove the front chain that's no guarantee that one wheel or the other won't lock in at times. It's an electrical/mechanical awd system and if one side or the other armature plate is magnetized it can still lock in.

so i would have to unhook the electrical wires as well? i cant really afford to buy a set of 22" front tires this year and new rims. and i assume with different size tires on all wheel drive will screw things up to run it like that with 22" paddles on back and 25" tires up front.. dont play in sand much but want to occasionally.

also i unhooked the electrical to do struts and forgot which wire goes where. orange wire and white wire. 1 goes to firewall and oher i assume is a ground but cant remember which went where? any thoughts would help

Gray and brown(ground) on the hub coils. Both go to color coded terminals on the board.This can help you understand how the system works along other things that will come along.http://visit.tradebit.com/visit.php/...75/264162958/9
