How To Wheelie

I have a 2003 Honda Rubicon 500 4x4. Just wondering how you would wheelie? Would it be the best in the automatic mode in low or drive? Or in the Electric Shift mode in 1st or 2nd gear? Also what is the best terrain for it, grass, pavement?

Thanks,

Matt

If your learning, stay away from pavement until you stop falling off the back. Learn in the grass, then show off whereever.(Pretty big atv to be wheeling on...the weight is gonna hinder you until you find that 'balance').

I know on my 700xx all I gotta do is nail the gas and it'll wheelie all day long:) As long as it has traction it's coming up on me. I would suggest getting used to the balance point in the grass. Do not try it on pavement because it'll hurt that much more when you dump it over.

Squat on the back rack and peg it in high/2nd, whateva. Once you get better, try it with your feet on the floor boards. Its harder to jump off this way and you have to be a little more forceful.
