The song had words like, "why do you waste your time on a forum", "why are you posting pictures of me", "you spend more time talking to those guys than you do me", "who is miss kitty and why are you looking at her pictures" [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-blush.gif[/img], "you like your quad better than me", "why does confusedbuyer think he's a chick magnet".....hum....did I cover it all?[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

 

Best truck I ever owned. More headroom and legroom than any other crew cab. My only complaints back in 2000 were they did'nt offer heated mirrors or seats. I called Fords Q/A to complain and they asked me "Why would anyone want heated mirrors?" When I checked the newer models they were offering both now. Great truck auto tranny could be better. The Chevy Duramx with the six speed Alison looks pretty sweet but lacks the interior room.

I have a number of friends who haul car trailers with pickups and they work those trucks hard. In the past 3 years three out of five bought Dodges. All three had problems (calipers locking up, burn out rear, toasted tranny) ended up trading in and buying Fords. The two that bought Fords ars still driving Fords.

On my computer the pictures were rotated over 90 degrees, but when I posted them, they reverted back to their old ways. You know, I carry the hat in my truck on the Trans hump. So, when I went on the trip, it was there and now, it smells fishy[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/img]I should try buttering to dbeck, I could sure use a raise[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]
When are you going to upgrade to DSL? Once you get rid of it, you will never go back to the phone system. So, much quicker and no more irritating problems over the phone lines[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

Ford does make over-all the best truck out there[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]IMHO[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] That's why, you don't see too many up for sale used. And this thread might be a little biased[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img] One changed I was pleased to see was Ford putting in rear head rest. Wish I could get three put in my rear seat, but no one will touch it[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img] I guess liability issues[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img] Might just have to buy a new bench at some point[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img]
