My last f250 with a 5.4 I got 230k out of the original motor. She was still going strong when I sold it.

My company truck is a 04- 05 f350, v10, dual wheels, 4x4, with a 9' flat bed and a 9' mm2 plow. Talk about a beast. I have had 60 sheets of 1/2" 4x8 sheetrock in the back . A little tippy but she hauls great.
Bent the trailer hitch and had to replace it 3 times because I was way, way, way overloaded. Other than the fact that she would not stop it towed great.

I'm a ford guy at heart, but I currently own a chevy.
2008, chevy, 2500 HD, LT, Z71, leveling kit in the front, procomp pro-runner shocks front and rear. It's a good truck, tows really good and is nice to ride in on long trips. I might one day do the 4" exhaust and a tuner, but for now all I really want is frontier bumpers front and rear and to go to a 285/75 tire when my tires wear out.

Here's mine; 2010 Tacoma 4x4. I've added a King suspension setup and the TRD supercharger, some other knick knacks. Its a lot of fun but sucks gas so bad and the S/C requires premium. 15mpg is about the norm. My jaw dropped when I got 16.5 once. Once I hook up the trailer and 2 quads it drops to around 10mpg.
Hefty price to pay for being steadfast on having a stick shift.
