Current truck (ordered it 6 months ago; picked it up 4 months ago): 2012 Chevrolet Silverado crew cab with NHT Max Trailering Pack (6.2 liter, 9.5" differential with 3.73 gear ratio, "heavy duty" suspension, 4 wheel disk brakes, engine oil cooler, transmission fluid cooler, and possibly some things I'm forgetting....).

New truck along with my previous two trucks. I bought all of them new and they're all still in the family. 1999 with 4.8, and 2008 with 5.3. Both have 3.42 gear ratio. The '08 has the Z82 H.D Trailering Equipment but that isn't nearly the same thing as the Max Trailering Pack on the '12. The '99 currently has ~255,000 miles on it and still runs just fine.

A few more pictures of my current truck, a 2012 GMC Canyon, with a 5.3 V8.

It is featured in 4-Wheel Drive & Sport Utility Magazine this month. There is a six page article on it. Here are some pictures from their web site, and here is the link to the whole article: 2012 GMC Canyon 2011 Chevrolet Colorado - 4 Wheel Drive Magazine

DesertViper,

If you haven't already, do yourself a favor and disable AFM before it screws up your motor.

Ok, but what does AFM stand for? American Federation of Musicians? Atomic Force Multiplier? Etc.

Active Fuel Management. Google it and you'll find plenty of info about the problems it causes.
