looking for a new trailer!
I am looking for a new trailer that will hold 2 quads I have been loking on craigslist and ebay and everything that I see that I like is like $1800 or cant fit 2 on it because of the side rails. To me spending that much for something that will be used 8-10 times a year is not worth it. Can anyone give me suggestions on cheaper alternatives????

Keep Watching
Keep watching craigslist and don't be in a hurry. I bought a two place tilting snowmobile trailer on craigslist last summer for 300 bucks. They are out there, you will find one eventually! What size are you looking for? Or just anything that will hold two quads? What are the quads that you are looking to haul?

If you get one of the 101"x8' snowmobile trailers it will have enough room for the 2 fullsized quads. My trailer is a 101"x12' and I usually have my quad and my son's quad, but can fit a third easily. If it's just my son and I we load using the tilt feature of the trailer and just ride on at the same time.

what I am looking for is something like that that I can put a single quad on like your 300 is and if I need to haul 2 put them both on like the one on the rear is (sideways) I dont want something that is long and narrow due to storage space I want it as compact as I can get, maybe I am being too picky about it and should settle for something else that would work

You may also want to check some other sites like hunting and fishing. Just keep your eyes peeled and look for a good landscape trailer or one that is long enough and just get someone to weld you a side ramp. Good luck - I know it was a pain in the butt because I was looking for one to haul my quad and motorcycle. I finally gave up considering I'd more than likely only haul one or the other......and if two need to go somewhere at the same time, it might be cheaper just to ship one.

New trailer
Check out the Traxx trailer or echo trailers. If your going to haul more than 2 or 3 miles, your way ahead with bigger wheels with proper bearings. I used to have a trailer with smaller wheels and ended up overheating the bearings and stuck on the side of the road. Not fun. The trailers I mentioned are designed for one job-Hauling ATV's. Put on a set or two of ATV Mighty TiTes and you can go coast to coast with no worries.
