Do all 4x4's work while in reverse?

If not, what 4 wheel drive systems do not work while in reverse? Which quads have these systems?

i beleieve though on the 2002 and up, you can disconnect a wire from the harness and it will override the override. not sure if it works on all polaris but i know it works on some

I just remembered, I do like the over-ride button that allows me to start my ATV while it is in any forward gear. I guess an over-ride is better than what you have with no over-ride.

The other bad thing is when a "Noob" is borrowing a quad and hits the throttle while in reverse, going backwards up an incline, nails the throttle wide open with his leg as he's nearly flung over the handlebars,..... then back-wheelies your unit into the largest object he can find......... (sounds like a tape for America's Funniest Vids),.... but I watched my quad do it... ( I'll stick w/ the overide button on my new one)
