Default 26" tires on a Rancher?

I have a 04 Rancher AT and am thinking of putting 26 inch Dirt Devil tires mounted on ITP C Series Alum Wheels on it.
Will 26" fit without any mounting problems? Will 26" adversely affect performance or handling?

had 26" mudlites on c-series on my 01 rancher fe. No clearance issues, and only a small power loss. Traction and ease of piloting through the nasty stuff was well worth it.

Hey maddog what size tires did you go with 26x10x12 for the front and 12x12s for the back? The reason I ask is I am looking at getting some mudlites for my 450 foreman. How do they work for normal trail riding? Also how do they wear. thanks

yeah, those are my sizes. They were nice on the trails, especially on wet ones. They were a little bumpy on hard pack, but still maintained good handling charachteristics. The tire wear was good on them, as good if not better than the stockers. The only problem with the mudlites is that if you run them on pavement the softer rubber will wear quickly. If you do a lot of riding on the road you wont get as many miles out of them. Excellent mud tire as well.

I have Rancher At, also thinking of getting 26x10x12 front and 26x12x12 rear on ITP C Series 6 "ROCK CRUSHER" rims. Just hoping there is no problem with major power loss, and rubbing.
