Cycle Country, thats it!

I installed it myself. I have a winch, but that was not included in the price I mentioned - $450ish.... However, the winch was only $79 because it was a suzuki promotion. I'll check what I paid for each part and post it tonight.

I would never pay to install a plow, it's extremely easy. I only had a small issue with getting the brackets to fit correctly, but nothing my die grinder couldn't fix.

Roseville isn't far from Shelby Township. In fact, I'm only about 4 miles from K&W. If you pick up a plow and would like help installing it (or just want to hook up for a beer) come on over. I've got every tool you can imagine.

Tools rule! i wish I had more of them to break..um i mean fix my stuff! I drive past k&w everyday because I work in rochester and take mound to auburn to get there. I am thinking of getting the plow setup off of ebay. I dont have much of a driveway but it will give me an excuse to play with quad in the winter. Maybe I can get it from the dealer cheaper. Roseville is about 10 miles south of you.

I see you got a ninja! sweet bike. I got a 2003 r1.

I hear ya on making excuses to use the quad...lol

That looks like a good deal - $580 after shipping, not bad since it includes the electric lift.

Yep, I just winterized the Ninja on Saturday. Sad to see her put away, but at least I have the quad to play with all winter.

Do you ever ride at the mounds? I'm always looking for people to ride with. You can always PM me or reply on this thread. Not too many people going out there this time of year because of the cold, but I put on my snowmobile gear and can keep pretty warm.

Good luck with your plow, looks like a great set up. I didn't have a choice of colors when I picked mine up at K&W - so I ended up with black. I would have chosen red or yellow if I could have. No biggie...

Hey skidoog....where are "the mounds"? I just finished wiring in everything for my blackline plow w/electric lift yesterday. Looks like I might have to use it in the morning....I'll wax up the blade tonight.

The mounds are just north of flint.

I would reccomend a 60inch, because a side walk is about 5ft wide so by the time you angle a plow under a 60in length it wont cover the whole sidewalk, so you will have to make more than one pass down the side walk.

I went with a 52"....it leaves about 4" on clearance before you start tearing up the customer's sod. I'm afraid a 60" would leave me liable for turf damage. Its nothing to take a second pass with these quads anyhow to clear off another 4 inches if you have to and it beats having a pissed off customer. Sidewalks in my area are 48" wide....

I stand corrected .......the sidewalk is 5 ft wide (I just measured it) . I guess my blade just does'nt put that much angle on it cause I did'nt leave a whole lotta snow on the walk after the edges of the 52" blade this am. I'd still rather be short a bit or have to make a quick cleanup pass on one side instead of tearing up a customers turf, or even worse...hitting a sprinkler head.
I'm sure a 60 inch would be preferable if you were doing more open area (driveways) and less sidewalks. My major deal is a whole street of sidewalks. Maybe if I had used a 60" once I would prefer that.....wish I'd had the chance to find out. Glenn

I have the 60" all hooked up and it snowed on Thursday and Saturday so I got to use it quite a bit. It was only a few inches of snow, but when it built up in front of the blade I could tell it didn't even slow the quad down. My 500 isn't going to have any problem with a 60" blade. I only do driveways so sidewalks won't be a problem either.

I was able to plow my circular driveway in about 10 minutes - plowing rocks!
