Gorilla Glue Didn't Work

My 2006 Suzuki Eiger, I busted out the left front headlight mount when I hit a tree, the whole mounting and the glued on plastic rivets are broken off, I glued it on to the bottom of the plastic body with Gorilla Glue and used 4 bungee strapps to hold it tight into place, I had the bungee straps and the glue holding it for 2 months but after I took the bungee straps off, the headlight mount fell off again. I know I can fix it and it will hold forever if I drill thru the top plastic body and install either metal rivets or bolts and nuts but that will ruin the apperance and look junky if I do that. Im taking suggestions how to fix it or could somebody suggest a better brand of glue? I figured Gorilla Glue was the best brand, it was expensive, $9 for a small bottle. Note: the bottom part of the headlight mount is still holding, its just the top part of the mount broke off, I can ride with it but the beam of the headlight points up. I have a Gorilla Winch, thats why I picked Gorilla Glue.

did you rough up the gluing surface before you glued it? If it is smoothe and shiny, the glue might not have had anything to glue onto. I wouldn't have used gorilly glue personally because it foams when the chemical reaction takes place and can get messy. May be an epoxy would be good.
That gorilla glue is way over priced.

This thread reminds me of the old days when we just used gray duct tape for all repairs. Lots of desert and enduro motorcycles often had more gray than not. Even used it for temp number plates, helmet visors, and blisters. Also repairs to riding gear like old leathers and linemans boots. Good stuff back in the day but not very pretty.

Hope my Gorilla axles hold up better than the glue and winches!

I've used it on a few things, can't really say how well it holds up yet but DO NOT get that stuff on your hands whatever you do, a major pain in the rear to get off..

Weldon # 16 glue
It will melt both 1/2 and drys quick but you got to be 18 to buy it.
I would also put a piece of plastic on the bottom side and glue that for extra support.
Gorilla glue is junk it will not even hole paper together
