This thread was about the 700's. FITSofRAGE's Grizz is a 660 I believe. The Grizzly 700 is a more refined machine IMO as I too had a 2003 660. I think the 700 Grizz has the best steering in the industry now, a stronger midrange than the 660, and handles only a hair better than the 660. The top speeds are comparable but the 700 gets there faster hands down. Don't get me wrong, the 660 is still plenty nimble and worth every penny! It's just that the power steering takes the cake.

Yes, this is true, this comparison is about the 700's. I have compared the 660 with the Polaris on a different thread!

Although not mentioned in this thread, I have rode the Brute Force 750 and Outlander 800 today only on dry asphault,.......no comparison with power, those are monsters. The Outty of course, kills all others in the power department!

I've never had a Grizzly, heard good things, but I do have a KQ, which is a GREAT machine, I am very happy with it. It ( stock, according to the manufacturer ) will go 68 MPH.

 

Buy the Grizzly if u got the extra money buy the ducks buddy has it I have king his looks like the day he bought it Ducks plastic is tough to scratch and if u do u cant see it. And as far as speed I can only dream of keeping up with him both have pipes and he eats my king up. His is a 660 can only imagine what the 700 with power steering is like . Any KQ owners need help with my plastic cant keep it on the quad those 2.00 plugs are killing me

I respect the grizz but my KQ just handles so nicely. It feels like I am muddign in atruck and not on a quad.

I loved riding my buddies Grizzley but I will always love my King Quad hands down.

 

Hunter009, does your buddy have the new 700 Grizzly? It's a completely different animal from the 660. The 700 Grizzly definitely raises the bar...

He asked which is faster, I told him how fast the KQ went; I wasn't trying to offend anyone, chill.

 

I'm guessing "which is faster?" is really asking which is more powerful? Really most 700cc utes can do close to 70mph so top speed isn't a big deal. I haven't ridden the new Grizz 700, but from what I've heard it's not much if anymore powerful than the King in stock form. Come Febuary, VDI is finally releasing their ECU for the King which will change things DRAMATICALLY since the King is detuned so bad in stock form.
