Looks great! I like the looks of the type 5 rims better too. Remind me of the old aluminum rims you used to see on some muscle cars. Let me know if those tires rub your overfenders. Mine did and I had to "modify" mine on the front.
Next thing to check into is a clutch kit for more low end grunt.
Have fun!

Well I got some updates....
Went out this weekend up to the hunting camp. Got to ride the updated kodiak on some trails and try out the mods. The bike is much more stable than before. Power was good, top end took a while to get to and cant say i ever saw it. Exhaust is deffinately LOUD. A little more than I hoped for but maybe I'll get use to it. If your in the throtle you and everyone else knows about it. If you back off when you reach crusing speed it improves. The front tires did rub on the over fenders on down hill turns. Couldnt see exactly where. I'd like to fix that. not sure of the nicest way yet. I have the front preloads set to 5 and the rear set to 4. all in all it is deffinately an improvement in the lean over tippy feeling. I noticed the bike from the rear when you accelerate looks like it squats and not sure if it is just a caracteristic of IRS coupled with the 26" tires on type 5 rims. I dont thik it was as noticable before. Otherwise the bike is running fine. Still wish it had more power. Not so sure i am thrilled with IRD. I wish they had this bike with a swing arm mono shock rear. but what the hell.
Also I purchased an 06 Wolverine 4x4 in white. That machine is fast and stable. Cant wait to put some mods on that. It is faster stock than the kodiak is with the mods. I had the dealer put on a winch and front and rear racks before I picked it up. Looks great. I'll post some pics when I get the chance.

not sure if i wanna start with internal engine work and cams etc. i figure if i am that unhappy with the machine i should sell it and get something else. I was originally looking at the kawasaki brute force 650 for the v twin, and swing arm rear. i figured it would be a better ride and much more power than the honda forman I was riding.
hey, did your friends artic cat come over on you in that picture or did it land on all 4's
