i would say the grizzly or the recon. So far i've put my recon through hell. rolled it PLENTY of time and in one case made it do a complete flip in the air and it's still ridable. i snorkeled it and had water over the handlebars. The downfalls are the smaller engine, and not a lot of ground clearance.

The grizzly would be better IMO with 100c more, 4x4 and if it is the IRS model.

I just picked up my new Grizzly 350 today. I spent about 45 minutes riding around the boat ramp next to my house, starting the break in and annoying the people feeding the seagulls (that annoys me, the rats with wings don't need food, so I guess we're even). The 350 was on sale and I got 5.5% financing at a local credit union through the dealership.

I was surprised at the acceleration and how sporty the bike felt so I am pretty happy with the purchase. It feels about as fast as the Kodiak 400 that I had borrowed and with the swingarm the handling is pretty good. All I need now is to pick up a GPS and a come along and some rope.

I just destroyed my buddies 07 350 with my 00 250, him 210, me 285 in a lil race! Like i said he loves his, the ride is great but no low gear and it showed in a mud hole. He got stuck in the middle of a hole and the tires wouldnt spin, pulled out. I went next (polaris) with my front right clutch out only 3wd i made it to the end and starting climbing out, got stuck, so i got off and throttled her out in low. tires never quit spinning.

O and you can remove the baffle in the tail pipe, it really woke my buddies up! Good buy, and have fun!

swing arm, and all the 350s are non efi. As far as mud goes I have spent enough of my life cold, wet and uncomfortable that you will probably never see me near a mudhole for fun.
