WARN power pivot
Hi all,
i was wondering if anyone has installed one of these yet? How do they work? does anyone have any specs on it? cant find any on the WARN web site. I would like to put one on my polaris glacier plow. any thought on this? will it bolt on or need major fabrication? Any other ideas out there on a power pivot for atv snow plow. Thanks |

American eagle makes a turn kit. It is hydraulic over electric. About $375. Mine worked well for about 3 hours until it literally pulled in half when I hit a seam in a parking lot. It is an aluminum cylinder. I have since modified my moose plow with a pure polaris electric winch actuator,2 springs, 2 turnbuckles, 2 pullies, 3' of 3/16 cable, a few welding rods later and voila a turn kit that works just as good if not better than the commercial ones and mine cost about $100. If you have access to a welder and can do minor fabrication I can explain the details.

WARN power pivot
Hi all,
Thought I would bump this back up to the top. I am moving from a 500 cat with a 48" cycle county plow to a 07 grizzly 700. I was just going to buy a 60" cycle country plow and use my current push tubes until I found the warn power pivot. Looks like the perfect lazy mans dreaml! However I am wondering if anyone has a warn plow and what they think of it. And if any one has a warn plow with the power pivot and does it hold up? Thanks in advance for the help. |

I'd like to see the pure polaris setup.
I have the Cycle country power turn deal, suuuuucks. Useless POS. Fixed it way more then used it. Gotta say Country Cycle was great about sending replacement parts free. Anyone want it? PM me. Maybe we can trade crap. Deerkiller |

I have had a WARN plow for two winters and it works like a charm.
I thought about the power adjust BUT the salesman suggested that I try plowing without it... the hand adjust works well - after all just how often do you NEED to turn the blade? So I saved the money and once or twice during the plowing I get off of the bike and adjust the blade ... it's still MUCH easier than shovelling! Save the money and the headaches! Do without the power adjust! (just my opinion) |

Well, I just went with the works.
60" Blade and Power Pivot. We will see how it works as soon as there is snow! |

Plan on turning the blade a lot? I went several winters without turning my blade once. I had two side shields on one of my plows so the snow didn't roll off the sides and I plowed straight ahead all the time. Without side shields on it I still didn't turn the plow very often. Maybe I angled it all the way to one side for a few minutes then turned it back and then left it straight for another month.
