I'm new to this site and have a few issues with a quad I picked up I don't know the year but it's a Kawasaki bayou 300 4x4 that came with a parts quad anyway when I got it it would idle but at higher rpm it would like skip and sputter cleaned the carb same thing well some trash got it my motor and tore up the stator and I put the one one the parts quad on it and spark comes and goes when I get spark it will run then die after a few min then today I noticed that when I turn the key on not trying to start it just turning the key on I hear it sparking random times I touch the plug wire and sure as **** it zaps me would that have something to do with the voltage regulator?
