hey; how do Grizzlies start and warm up and idle? I know they have plenty of power and a great ride; but I know many other big-bore 4's that won't start for $#!t in the cold. Then they won't warm up or idle forever. What's the grizz like?

Thanks. I was up at ma cabin deer-hunting while my uncle says, "yea you can take my ATV for a spin in the snow tomorrow if you want..." I said what you got? He's like, "Grizzly 660". I'm like... nice... so I did. Asked him how it started; he said great and it sure did. Fired up on choke and purred like a kitten. Great maching and i'd consider buying one. i have the 145 main jets and wow its hard starting my grizzly, it took like 5 minutes for real to get it going last week when i went out to do my weekly cold weather start.
stock jets are 153.8 misku jets
anything above the 160 then u start getting into K&N air filters because system needs more air

either way I have a griz and I know some one with a griz around town here where i am at and both our grizs are basically not worth squat.
thanks happy holidays

cold starts never problem in wnc abt 1500-6500ft elev, factory 153.8 was not quite right but at a variable altitude what will be is a guess, cold start's no prob,my 02 green grizz 660 fire's up every time 2/3 choke, even with mods-side panel vents,pro-blend water/oil treatment,k&n filter,super-trapp ids/x exhaust with 12 disc's,6 uni air box vents,dyno-jet 150mj-needle on 4th groove-mix screw on 2.5 turns, plug color is perfect a tan/grey color, friends of my own a polly 500/700 a kawy 650,400 kodiak, eiger 400.my griz and the polly 700 were the easiest to start cold, the eiger400 and the kawy 650 were the hardest all were moded similar exc. the polly 500/700"s,but were not all that bad, operator error could have played a part but occured every morning at 10-20 deg on a recent deer hunt, the ids exhaust is a little harder to start cold probably because off lost back-pressure but power went way up especially mid-top end and is a lot quicker, valve adjustment periodically 100-200 hrs helps everything so does a GOOD HONEST DEALERSHIP.
