I am back in town now. LONG drive. Wish I woulda taken my quad. The pony farm I got to visit this weekend is on the edge of National forest access into the mountains around Lake Walowa(I think) outside Joseph, OR. What a georgeous area! I would LOVE to have a piece of property/farm like that in such a phenomenal area. They told me I should bring it next time so I think I will have to figure out how. DM, Rod's right on the button, you got yourself some spyware and that popup is a scam. I have the programs to get it all fixed up for you. I will come get your laptop, too.

glad you are back safe

while fishing this weekend, a trawler style yacht cruised by

Its name was Lady J. We took some pics from afar,,,I will share when we get them loaded.

I think you could get used to this boat. Even had a crane to pick up the quads and put them on deck. Might give you some ideas for the future.

Do have permits for barn now.. so footing excavation should commence.. Im nearly done with a complete framing plan aswell. Although i left it down there so i cant finish it till next weekend to get the lumber package. Hopefully its not too terrible.. trusses are about 14k with the 3 dormers.

Neighbor over by Goldendale said the permit process over there has slowed way down. Took him 3 days and fifty bucks to get a permit to build a shop/storage building. Used to be a walk in, fifteen bucks, walk out deal. Progress

Was riding around off the trails in the bushes in the cow field lookin for a place to pioneer a new hillclimb or two that are more technical that just steep cat trails. well heading down into this ravine near where Bing got stuck I seen a bunch of bones and was thinkin one of the cows had died or sompin last winter. so i stopped and walked over to inspect and tripped over a Nice 3x4 Elk rack on the skull that as a nice find the entire skeleton was there including the Hooves. Dunno if it died from fighting or was wounded by a hunter and made its way into the pasture before it bedded down one last time.

Unusual for all the parts to be in place. Scavengers usually have stuff scattered around. Now you have a set of horns to hang on the new barn.
