ive been to lil sahara several times and it definatly is a blast there, decent sized park.......but it is a fifteen hour drive.....for a little shorter drive i was thinking about silver lake, but i wasnt sure if it was a big enough park to drive to.has any body rode both parks and have a fair comparison opinion? thanks for any input

I believe its the only TRUE sandbox in the region.
Its a 5 hr drive for me and I make it there at least once or twice a year.
It will be closed soon and they do insist on spark arrestors and exhaust has to be 98 dbs or less.

I have heard the the hills at Silver Lake are as big, or a little bigger that Little S, but a much smaller place, over all Little S has less rules than Silver lake. At silver lake NO- Drinking, NO 2 passengers on a quad, they close at dark( for the most part) no one under 16 with out a MI safety coarse.
Some of those rules are a good thing.
Go a head--make the trip!
