Silver Lake only has about 450 acres. It gets pretty rough/crowded on the weekends. If you plan on going this year you better do it soon as they close for the year on Oct. 31.

I don't think it's worth the 3 hour drive from here let alone coming from Minnesota!

Moto-- Silver Lake is a pretty cool place for around here. Although I would not compare it to Little Sahara or Glamis or anything like that. Not much riding around NW Ohio/Southern Michigan. We drive at least 3 hours everytime we want to go riding.

Silver Lake is a decent place.
I believe its the only TRUE sandbox in the region.
Its a 5 hr drive for me and I make it there at least once or twice a year.
It will be closed soon and they do insist on spark arrestors and exhaust has to be 98 dbs or less.

the quadzilla would needa major exhaust work to pass those requirements

I have heard the the hills at Silver Lake are as big, or a little bigger that Little S, but a much smaller place, over all Little S has less rules than Silver lake. At silver lake NO- Drinking, NO 2 passengers on a quad, they close at dark( for the most part) no one under 16 with out a MI safety coarse.
Some of those rules are a good thing.

Go a head--make the trip!
