Hotrod Banshees blowing up is an every day occurence. My son's 4 mil has lasted 2 full years of hard racing. It's a real exception to the rule. The only one I know of that has lasted longer is a LA Sleeve motor that a friend of mine runs.

I'd forgotten that Rick had bought that. That guys luck is as bad as mine when comes to blowing up engines. His quads have been down as much as mine the last year or two.

I wonder if he had a Crankworks crank too?

Got rid of the one thats broke all the time. And got a different one thats faster and broke all the time was that a good trade HA!HA! It was a crankworks crank. Matt did more on the porting it help a bunch he getting good at it reed went into crank caused it to break or me missing gear and over rev.It cost to go fast.

Yeah, these things are money pits for sure. I think about getting out of it but I go and race a couple of times and I end up spending a couple more thousand somehow. It never ends.

Daren probably did the right thing. He quit altogether I think. He even had the Hondas up for sale but I don't know if they sold or not.

That is correct Pat. . . trying to sell out other than my son Tyler's Suzuki LT50. I have sold my 450 now just trying to sell the wife's.

I still at times miss the drag racing, but whenever they closed the asphalt drag stip at Benton, that was the beginning of the end. It's definitely a never ending money pit, and it just got to a point where it wasn't worth the work. And I found something else that I want LOL!!
