Ft Dodge..
We went the other day... Not bad... A nice perimeter trail with some trails in the middle.... Alot of up and down in the middle trails.... A couple of decent climbs and downhills on the main trails....The have a large mx track and smaller kid beginner track....Tons of parking .Approx 1.5 hrs from DM..
Marshalltown
It has a 150-200 acre site near the east edge of town.... The parking can be crowded at times... It has a perimeter trail with alot of interconnecting trails in the middle.... Its is all flat mostly... And a sand area near the water when available... It can be muddy... .Approx 1hr from Dm...
Where do you normally ride and where have you been to .??

I've have only been to Marshaltown Nickoleson/Ford. It was fun but your right alittle crowded. I heard that there is a good place by Rathbun? Thats not too far from you huh? I would like to plan a short weekend trip to MN or WI, they sound like they have much better trails. Any thoughts on that?

Yeah we have been to St.Croix St Forest in Mn and Black River Falls area in Wisconsin.... There are miles of trails and places to camp and fish....

..Hopeing in the spring to go back and do the same next year.....Most trails stay closed until March or so depending on the weather and all... You can ride on the same trails in the winter with snowmobiles and 4x quads I think....
