NEW Puget Sound/Seattle/Northwest area riders MEET HERE!!! thread
Good Morning PSAR!
Sounds like things went pretty well for everyone this weekend, glad to hear it. We had family andfriends over and BBQ in the yard. Nothing fancy but a good time. Some quad riding around the home place here, got about 7 or 8 acres thats not in wheat they can bomb around on.
S250, sounds like an expensive motor failure. Good thing he had someone to haul him home. Are those airplanes RC? We're putting in a landing strip next spring for our RC fixed wing planes. Be about 100' by 500' of level grass. Looking forward to being able to fly right by the house. No trees or power lines to worry about either.
Have a great day.
Mike

Mike,
Yup, We fly RC fixed wing and Heli's. Bruce has a really nice grass strip with a good overfly area. We used all fly gas but everyone is into electric now. We still have our gas planes but there so much more work to fly than electric. Finding a good flying field is few and far between. I don't hardly fly much at all anymore since we lost our field at the Port Orchard Airport 6 years ago. What do you fly?
Bruce thinks he can find new engine block for $ 300. He needs to tear it apart and find what other parts he needs as well. It's not a priortity for him though, he has two other bikes and plans on leaving for a year and a half trip across the country in his motorhome.
