New to Forum - not to Honda ATC's
 

Hi - my name is Derek and I'm new to the forum, but not to Honda ATC's. I found a 85 350x that I will be picking up tomorrow, and will be engaging on a breakdown rebuild mission depending on what I find - this will be my first such project, but not my first ATC. I had my first Honda 110 when I was 11 years old, back in the early 80's. My second was a new 200X purchased in 85.

I also have a 04 VFR800, and an 08 CBR1000RR in Candy Red and Silver. So, other than the fact that I drive a Toyota truck, I'm a Honda guy.

Introducing myself, will share pictures when I pick it up, and hope to get some great advice on bringing this ATC back to its glory days.

This will start my thread on bringing the trike home, and the process of breaking down, rebuilding and restoring, then riding it. This is a process that is motivated in memory of Jeff Barker, a friend of mine who left us in a BASE jumping accident near Index, WA. Jeff and I grew up in the mesas surrounding Albuquerque, NM riding Honda ATC's - he started with a 90, I had a 110, my father a Big Red. Over the years, we drifted apart but his memory lives on in this build.
