I personally think it's kinda boring because it's basically a straight railroad grade. For a slow scenic family ride, it would probably be great though.

If you want a long, straight, flat ride then the Soo Line is for you, It's an abandoned railroad. (the railroad was called the Soo Line, hence the name) I like snowmobiling on the Soo Line, but I think it's a little boring for an all day ATV ride.
You might want to check out Red Top, which connects to the South Soo Line between Isle and McGrath. It's a bunch of loops that are all connected together rather than one long, straight trail. It also has a pretty good variety of terrain. If you want to camp, it also connects to the Snake River Campground, which is off of Hwy 65 south of McGrath. You can find info on most of the trails in MN here: OHV trail locations map: Minnesota DNR |
thanks alot for the info if it was me i would rather find something a little more entertaining but we will have my wife and my mother in law with and they would enjoy something easy till they learn how to ride better

Don't forget to get non-resident trail passes, new law this year, $21 a head.

If you are up for it check out the Silver Bay trails! best in the state BY FAR for scenic views. I will post some pics from our ride up there last week
