Anywhere to ride near Albuquerque?
 

Planning a trip next year. Will be driving out to southern CO and riding there. Then head down to Albuquerque for the Balloon event. We are planning to be in Albuquerque for a few days and wouldn't mind spending one day doing some riding.

Anything worth checking out for day rides?

New Mexico has a street legal law. You might want to check it out. While in New Mexico I saw a UTV on a frontage road, and then a saw a two stroke sport ATV (Banshee?) zipping down the road in front of our campground. I checked it out and found that New Mexico has street legal laws like most states surrounding Colorado. Utah is a leader in this.

Southwest Colorado is very good ATV country, especially Silverton. I think you will enjoy your trip.
