Dodgeman,
Im from Burton Mi near Flint.I live 7 miles from the Mounds,so I frequent it ALOT.Im also a licensed ASI safety instructor. [ATV safety instructor] Im also a member of MATVA or the Michigan All Terrain Vehicle Assoc in high regards.I beleive MATVA is the largest ATV related Association in the State of Michigan and the only organized one with the President on the ORV advisory board.Michigan ATVers FINALLY have an ACTUAL ATVer present to speak on behalf of their sport instead of some idiot setting the rules that knows nothing about our sport or ATVs.All Michigan ATVers should concider joining MATVA if our sport is to keep alive in Mi.Membership is very INEXSPENSIVE. I ride a Polaris 4x4 400cc Xplorer and have never been beat by any other utility ATV yet.Im waiting for a chance to drag the new 660 Grizz and the new Kawi 650 twin 4x4.I test road BOTH today and I dont think either of them have a chance against me. I have rode ALOT of Michigan trailways since I started riding 3 wheelers in 1983.There are still alot that I have not yet rode, but God willing,I'll get there.I ride with a bunch of guys from the Detroit area. They are the best of the best in character and I allways look forward to riding with them. Keep in touch,we are a GREAT group of riders to know, Bill 00 Xplorer 400cc 4x4 26 inch Goodyear Mudrunners PSI pipe w/Scrambler silencer Delta V-Force reeds w/spacer kit RcR airbox mods KN Filter-Uni Filter Heel Clickers clutch kit SideWinders Titanium chain/sprockets If you want to come in second''FOLLOW ME'' |

Dodgeman,
Live in a small town outside the zoo and ride a Sportsman. Have been fortunate to see a few places in the relatively short time we've dedicated to riding(pretty heavy into powered parachutes beforehand). Rode Baldwin,White Cloud,Houghton/Hancock,Newberry/Hulbert,Pigeon River and Goodman area in WI.up to this point. Would like to hit the Tomahawk(tight),Black Lake,Missaukee and Kalkaska area next. Agree wholeheartedly with Bill re: MATVA as we really are at a turning point for responsible use and management of our fantastic trail system. Getting a little tired of people that think $20 is the end of their financial world and unwilling to take a chance on an organization that has their best interests in mind. Let's KEEP this state a world-class destination for everybody. John |
