Has anyone ridden here i will be going there the first weekend of the year , are they open ? what temp? snow ? lodging ? i dont like to ride alone i am looking for some one to ride with i wont slow you down i am experinced and i practice saftey but still can ride like a mad man for day after day.(boy this is starting to sound like a personel add)all jokes aside i need to know if someone who may be riding there so i can tag along.

Just came from there this summer. Tellico is GREAT and was ALOT of fun even on my DS650. I took my Jeep and DS up there. I'd expect it to be cold, I know this summer "July" the farther up the mountains I went the cooler it was so pack warm stuff. All trails are marked with difficulty and if the trail is for Jeeps or ATV's. Most trails are for both BUT some are restricted. There will be PLENTY of people riding up there on any weekend and when I was they all seemed friendly. Find a good map like I did from the Forestry service in Murphy NC of Tellico and how to get from Murphy to Tellico ORV its easy to find with good directions but very hard without them.
