I pass by mahwah during work. I see where to park along the highway on the northbound side. Is the new york southbound side up the mountain the long trail rides?? If so where can I park so I won't be bothered, if possible. I am thinking about going there and trying it out.

 

Found Mahwah on Sunday. Pretty nice place, but now I have a slow leak in the sidewall of my tire. I ran all the trails by Sharps, and I went into the water tunnels and came up the hill, but didn't go further than that.

that mountain is a bitch my friends from sloatsburg cruse up there from their backyards but i park along 17 like everone else

 

i was only there a few times...i park at a friends house in mahwah and ride through his backyard and i'm there......but when i was there i couldn't find the water tunnels....WHAT THE HELL...WHERE ARE THEY????...i wanna get up on the hill

 

Hey, I see this riding area is well used. Are the water tunnels those low boxes going under the highway?? Also, Are these trails used regularly? I want to go down there some weekend and check it out.

Hello.. see this is a old post...anyone here have any info on where is good to ride in north jersey?

 

Just road there today. Park behind tennis courts..once you get through the culvert and up a narly hill your on stag hill and can ride for hours

 

I was reading this old post about where you can ride in northern New Jersey .
What is the best place to access these trails and safest place to park your truck in Mahwah and West Milford ?
Does anyone know if the trail connects from Mahwah to West Milford or are they 2 separate trails ?
Where are the entrances are for both trails ?
