Some buddies and I are planning a trip to St.Joe next weekend. We have never been there, just wondering what to expect? I have heard there is a lot of sand, but are there plenty of wooded trails too? Are the trails comparable to Finger Lakes? Do you have to have a flag? If anyone can help us out on what to plan for, it would be appreciated.

Lots of sand, lots of wooded trails. Many of the trails are very rocky. You must have a flag & helmet. Entry fee is $3 per day. I think the park opens at 7 am and closes at 8 pm.

Hey treeguy,

That Lakota is fine for your wife and kids but what are you going to ride?

I was going to stop on the way and trade it in on a prarie 650, but I wasn't sure your truck could pull the extra weight. When you get that mojo stuck in a mud hole, I wont charge you too much too pull it out with my little lakota.
