There are 3 or 4 other places right near that area. In fact one is about 10 minutes from Fun Wheeler Park.

Pool Ranch in Athens is a good place also. They only open the ranch a few times a year to ride. I believe the next ride is in May. 3000 acres with mud and lots of trails.

I've got to try that "fun wheeler park". It's only a couple of hours from where we live near Jasper, Tx. Any idea what the entrance fee is?

If you live in or near East Texas, you missed a great day for riding today. We rode with four other couples on a hunting club with a lot of spring fed streams (cold and clear), lots of water crossings, mud, steep hills, rocky hills, narrow trails and wide open trails. Great day. I guess any day is a good day if your on a four wheeler.

fun wheeler is usually $20 to get in. Its only 900 acres. Gator Run is $20 and is 5000 acres.

There has been some controversy as to the size of the Gator Run lease. I have been told that the guy only has 800 acres under lease and the rest is oil leases and personal property. I have also been told that the lease has been increased to 7000 acres. I am not sure what the truth is. I know I have personally seen over 800 acres if my perception is worth anything. Also, FWP is only $20 on special weekends from what I understand, and they also do a day rate now of $10 per person including quad. Both of these places are great places to mud. Wew have been going to Gator because it is new to us. I would not want to bad mouth either place. I think it is in our best interest as ATV enthusiest to support business like this that allow access to riding areas that would otherwise be off limits.
