Where is a good place to ride in North Alabama? I live in Morgan County. I know about the trail a Bankhead. Is there any others around or any tracks near by to ride at?

Riding places are getting slim around here, every where I use to ride is a hunting club now.
Trailhog, I have heard of place around Cullman called chigger ridge. Have you ever ridden there? I heard it is state owned, but it sounds like it would be easy to get lost there.
RebelYFS200, I live about 5 miles to the south of there and use to ride there all the time ,but about a couple of years ago someone put up a keep out sign and a cable across the road, so I haven't been back. Is it open again? I didn't know the state owned it.
I am not sure if it is open or not. I saw it listed on an atv website and the person who sent it in said it was state owned. I noticed in the yellow pages of the phonebook there is a track in huntsville that has motocross, enduro, and trails. Have you heard of anyone going there?
I have never heard about that place in Huntsville. What atv site did you see it own?
I saw it on sportquad, but I see that it was sent in back in 1997 so your probably right about it being closed. There is a place near Birmingham called the bowl, and a trail at Tallededga Forest but that is too far to drive. I guess I will just have to go give Bankhead a try. Everyone I talk to says it is a nice trail.
I lived close to the bowl just outside Helena for 25yrs, I like to park there and ride the trails and gas lines around there because the bowl itself is way to crowded to ride.

there a place near oxford AL. called kentuck orv park.I've never rode there dut heard it was cool.I found it on Georgia off road (georiaoffroad.com)
