atv's really do float

A few weeks ago me and my buddies went riding at Peaceful Valley in Kentucky. There were a lot of muddy trails. I didn't care for the place to much.

Anyways, we came upon a mudhole that there was no way around so one of us tried to go through. Well he didn't make it to far. We found out that his atv actually floats. None of us would have been able to make it through. It was pretty deep.

looks like ya'll don't like to get muddy. That guys pants look cleaner than mine do before I start riding. Ya'll need mud tires, snorkles and a little courage and you could tear that hole a new one. It may be deeper than it show right there, but I wouldn't brag at all about that stick. If I were you, I would delete this post, because I'm being easy on you. The bike or the man isn't even muddy. You must have been riding on a polaris trail.

Unless the frame hung up on something you can't see it doesn't even look like it's stuck.

The bike doesn't look stuck because it is floating. It is much deeper than it looks. None of us would have made it, I don't think. Three of us were running mud tires but I don't think it would have made a difference. He is the only one with stock tires and he is usually the first to go in a mud hole since he is leading most of the time.

Don't look like floating to me either. Looks more like it is high centered on the frame.

Looks fun though. Hope someone had a winch.

If you say it is floating I guess I'll have to take our word for it. Maybe a rubicon floats different than an older foreman. My old foreman would be sitting lower in the rear and real high in the front. When I floated it, it was so deep I had to jump off and paddleboat it out.

The reason I know it is floating is because when he sits on it, it would drop quite a bit. BTW, that is not a Rubicon, it is a Rancher.

Two of us had a winch but just used a tow strap to pull him out.

sorry about the misidentification. Now that I look harder I do see that it is a rancher. Should have sent a big boy in to try it. Then the winches would have got a workout. Well I hope ya'll at least had fun.
