This one took two quads with winches yanking him out, it burnt out my winch motor, and snapped one of the tree saver straps, an hour or so later, he was out!

Those are some serious stucks. Don't know if you tried it or not, but if you use a ****** block you can half the weight of the pull to save the winch motor some grief. If you had gotten through a hole and the guy behind you gets stuck, put your tree strap around a tree in front (and to the side) of you and attach a ****** block pulley to it. Run your winches cable through the pulley and back to the quad. The other method is if you're facing the quad that's stuck, run the ****** block to the stuck quad and the hook back to your quad. I've had to do this in waist deep snow to pull out a Polaris Sporstman X2, which is about the heaviest quad out there. You could hear the difference in the strain on the motor.

Ya they are a life saver. Takes twice as long but still quicker than shoveling out by hand.
