we came across a patch that looked completely dry and as soon as i got on top, we sank right to the bottom! couldnt get her to move an inch. all i was doin was digging holes and pushing more mud up under me. two guys on suzuki ozark 250's came to our rescue, one guy had a wire on back of his and when he tried to pull me out it flipped his atv into a wheelie stance then immediately onto its butt. we then hooked up my friends truck and when he tried pullin it out, he just started fishtailing...thought i was in some serious trouble, but we finally got it out!

Some of those little, innocent looking, holes are the worst. Looks like the, too thick to get to the bottom, too thin to support the quad, kind of mud.

 

yeah unfortunately! but after i got out, we were all able to go thru it without any problems? i guess it was because we packed it down some?

 

Probably hit it with a little more speed second time around. Some mud you can kind of skim across if you're going fast enough. But if you come to a stop you sink.

 

yeah thats what we were thinkin, but then my friend stopped in the middle of it and was still able to conquer it! haha
